Your Billiard Table

Your billiard table is the crown jewel of your game room.

Where to begin?

First of all, make sure you get the quality you are paying for. The section on quality will get you started. Then, decide what style you want. Architectural match? Special theme? Convertible dining/pool table? Who will be playing on the table? All tables are completed to your specs, are built to last generations, and are priced for value.

Here's how to do it...

  1. Check your room size and arrangement ~ Standard table lengths are 7', 8', and the 9' tournament size. Most pool halls and all tournaments use 9' tables, but my most popular size is 8'. Cues can also be sized if needed. Use the table sizing chart to help pick the right table size for your room.
  2. Decide on an overall style or theme ~ Generally, the style of the table matches the room. Do you want a table with a classic look, modern look, or special theme? Best Billiards has many options to choose from, or can help you design something all your own. Tour some of the design examples in the billiard table gallery.
  3. Choose elements that match your design theme and playing style ~ Once you have a theme in mind, it's time to put the pieces together. What cloth colors and wood finishes match your room? What legs fit your design intent? Which sights look best? What special touches would you like to include? Even the cloth color and composition will be matched to your design and style of play. 4. Come visit the showroom ~ Once you know the right size and have some ideas on the style and details, it's time to visit the shop and showroom where you can finish your customization choices. You can see full tables, component examples, and game room accessories to help finalize your design.
